Knapp's Relational Model

Knapp's relationship model is a way to show how people can grow and end interpersonal relationships. When I view this model I immediately think about my relationship with my boyfriend, Logan. In regards to Knapp's relationship stages I would say that we are in the integrating stage. We have known each other for four years now and have been dating for a bit over a year now. Our relationship status is known amongst our family and friends as an official relationship. The integrating stage is such an exciting stage. We are beginning to share traditions, routines, and are beginning to blend families. 

Creating a relationship with Logan has been one of the best experiences in my life. Getting to know someone on a deeper level and fully feeling comfortable to disclose almost everything about yourself with someone you've built trust with is such a surreal experience. I'm so thankful for him and the many more years of love and relationship building we will experience together.
